Medgulf announcement for Surplus Distribution
Dear Valued Client,

It is a pleasure to announce to you our Surplus Distribution for the following years:

  • 2009
  • 2010
  • 2011
  • 2012
  • 2014
  • 2016
  • 2019
  • 2020

Please note the trailing steps that will be followed in order to dispense the surplus dues in respect of your insurance policies:

Eligibility Check:

  • Policyholder’s claims during the surplus year should be less than 70% of the Insurance Premiums (SAMA surplus policy clause# 22)
  • There should be no pending dues in favor of MedGulf on client account (SAMA surplus policy clause #33)
  • In case of pending dues in favor of MedGulf, final surplus payable amount will be determined post discharging the dues in favor of MedGulf(SAMA surplus policy clause# 33)

Required Information:

  • Clients would need to provide their policy & CR numbers
  • Post verification of the aforementioned information, the following documents would need to be uploaded:
    a. CR/ID Numbers
    b. Official IBAN letter issued by the bank

Please consider the following in order to ensure successful validation;

  1. CR/ID Numbers & IBAN information have been typed in correctly
  2. - IBAN letter is on the respective bank’s official letter with the bank’s stamp
  3. - Uploaded copies of CR/ID & IBAN are clearly visible

Failure to meet any one or all of the above requirements may in-validate your submitted information


Timeline:

  • Post successful submission of the required documents, validation of uploaded documents would be completed in no later than 10 working days
  • Once validation is finalized, due surplus amounts would be transferred to client accounts in no later than 5 working days
  • In case of un-successful validation of uploaded documents, a further 05 working days would be required for the re-validation of uploaded documents
