Medical Approval:
Can I issue a medical insurance policy through MEDGULF website?
Currently, you can issue a medical insurance policy through our website. To better assist you, please visit the nearest MEGULF location to you through the link: www.medgulf.com.sa/branches.php.
Do you have individual and family medical insurance?
We currently don’t provide individual or family medical insurance. Our medical insurance is limited to companies.
How can I activate my insurance card?
If your medical insurance is provided by a company, please contact the insurance representative in your company. Or visit our location if your insurance is not following a specific company.
I’m currently outside of the Kingdom and I would like to know what are the hospitals and treatments that are included in my medical insurance plan.

How can I enroll in the chronic condition prescription plan?
In order to enroll in the chronic condition service, please send a photocopy of the prescription and your insurance card to patient@medicalrefill.com. You can also ask about the chronic condition service by contacting our prescription account in Twitter @MedicalRefill.
I lost my insurance card; can I go to the hospital without it?
In case of urgent need to visit the hospital, you can contact our team at 800 124 8844 and they will support you & direct you step by step.

What are the steps to upgrade or change my vehicle insurance?
Upgrading your vehicle insurance policy is not available yet, but you apply for comprehensive vehicle program, and canceling your current insurance against others.
What is the expected duration to a vehicle compensation?
The expected vehicle compensation duration is 15 days for individuals, and 45 days for companies.
Can I still benefit from the vehicle insurance if my car registration is outdated?
Yes, you can still benefit from the vehicle insurance. You can also enroll in vehicle insurance and renew your car registration later.
Can I take a look at the loss records or Najem system through a MEDGULF location?
You can look at the loss records by visiting any location of MEDGULF in order for our employees to search your personal loss records through Najem.
What is comprehensive Insurance Program?
In MEDGULF, we provide Comprehensive Insurance Program to guarantee you the best vehicle insurance standards to minimize the loss and damage caused by accidents, which includes the repair of the vehicle in the car’s agency or in a local auto repair shop as per costumer’s choice in the insurance policy. As well as covering a compensation of death or injuries caused by the accident. You can also upgrade the insurance policy to include all types of risks from accidents to insurance against theft and fire according to the terms and conditions explained in the insurance policy.
Can I issue an insurance on a vehicle from the Gulf countries?
We currently don’t provide vehicle insurance on cars from any of the Gulf countries.
Can I issue a vehicle insurance on a government vehicle?
You can issue a vehicle insurance on a government car by providing a letter from the governmental entity along with the required documents for vehicle insurance.
How can I search online for the data of my vehicle?
Currently, we don’t provide any data on vehicles through our website. But you can ask our team about your vehicle by calling us on our free toll number 800 441 4442 at our working hours from Sunday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What are the required documents to enroll in Shamel Insurance and against others?
For against others insurance, you need to provide your driver license and two additional drivers, car’s registration, local address, bank IBAN. And a driving authorization if you are not the vehicle’s owner. For Shamel, you need to provide the same documents along with the vehicle.
Is it necessary for the vehicle’s owner to come in order to apply or issue a vehicle insurance policy?
Yes, we can also issue a vehicle insurance policy to a person with an official authorization on the vehicle.
I want to cancel my vehicle insurance, what are the required documents?
We would be happy to assist you on that matter by visiting our nearest location to you, learn more about what MEDGULF location is near to you by visiting www.medgulf.com.sa/branches.php. Make sure you also bring the following documents:
  • Insurance Certificate
  • Insurance Card
  • National ID
  • Car Registration
  • Bank IBAN
  • Sale Contract (in case of the vehicle selling)
  • Tamm document from the traffic police or brig an insurance certificate if the vehicle is insured by another company.

The compensation is going to be made following the terms and conditions of the policy.
